Trusted in 160+ countries.
Cambridge International is the academic spine of every year at KIS. English, Mathematics and Science follow the Cambridge Primary framework — the same programme trusted by schools in more than 160 countries — so a child's progress here is measured against the same standard as a child's anywhere else in the world.
What it looks like in a classroom
Lessons are built around a question rather than a chapter. A teacher opens with something worth wondering about, the class investigates, and the conclusion is arrived at together rather than copied down. Assessment is continuous and low-stakes; Cambridge Checkpoint at the end of Primary confirms what teachers have been tracking all along.
- English — reading, writing, speaking and listening, taught as one subject rather than four.
- Mathematics — number, geometry and problem-solving, with reasoning valued above recall.
- Science — investigation first, vocabulary second.
Our teachers are Cambridge-trained, which matters as much as the framework itself: a programme is only ever as good as the person delivering it.
