Athletics, house points, and a picnic families are asked to bring.
Every child runs. That is the only rule of the day that is not negotiable — there are no reserves and no spectators from among the pupils.
Points go to houses rather than individuals, which changes the noise on the sidelines completely: the loudest cheering is always for whoever is last.
Families are welcome from 08:30 and asked to bring lunch to share.
